Mamacita Meals ("we," "us," or "the app") is a meal planning tool for expecting parents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and how we use it. We keep this simple on purpose.
Information we handle
Mamacita Meals is designed to store most of your information directly on your own device. This includes:
- Your meal preferences, dietary restrictions, and food exclusions.
- Your current and saved weekly meal plans.
- Your grocery lists and the items you mark as already on hand.
- Pregnancy timeline details you choose to enter, such as a due date.
We do not require you to create an account to use the core features, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Instacart integration
When you choose to order groceries, Mamacita Meals connects to Instacart so your grocery list can become an Instacart cart for delivery or pickup. At that point, the relevant grocery items are shared with Instacart to build your order. Any account details, payment information, and delivery information you provide to Instacart are handled by Instacart under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your Instacart payment details.
Third party services
We use a small number of third party services to run the app, such as web hosting and fonts. These providers may process limited technical information, such as your device type or IP address, only as needed to deliver the site securely.
How we use information
We use the information above only to plan your meals, build your grocery lists, connect your order to Instacart, and improve how the app works. We do not use your information for advertising.
Your choices
Because most of your data lives on your device, you can clear it at any time through your browser or device settings. You can also stop using the Instacart connection at any time and shop manually.
Children
Mamacita Meals is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
